Elisabeth is a certified hypnotherapist who brings with her a lifetime of religious, philosophical, and spiritual study. Her path has been one of healing and integration, bringing together modalities that at first appear to be diverse or even in conflict. Unwilling to abandon her religious background, she has worked tirelessly to interpret spiritual experience in light of her own heritage and tradition. She believes strongly that once we know the truth, the truth will set us free.
The path of learning and growth that Elisabeth has been given to walk has introduced her to many things. During the last ten years of healing herself and others, she has developed reliable methods for not only discerning the truth and following the guidance she receives, but also for helping others to find what they seek. She sincerely feels that Truth expresses itself in many forms - as she frames her knowledge and experience with her own background, so she believes that others should frame theirs in their own way.
Elisabeth was quite surprised to find herself led to hypnotherapy, and even more surprised to fall in love with hypnosis. Her favorite thing about being a hypnotherapist is that she never knows what is coming next, and that makes each and every client a gift, a blessing, an honor. Your story is as sacred to her as it is (or could be) to you. Every session with Elisabeth is as unique and individual as the person in the chair. Randall comes to us from somewhere else. We're not exactly sure where, but somewhere. Hi, this is Elisabeth. I'm going to write for Randall because I know that Randall is going to take at least another year to get around to writing about himself. I learned about music in Iowa. Someday I'll tell you a really great story about my final project, but until that day, let me just say that I learned about music in Iowa. The University of Iowa, to be exact.
Several years and many horrific experiences later, I found Elisabeth working in an office where neither of us belonged. In a dream shortly after we met she said to me, "follow me," and I didn't really have anything better to do, so I shrugged and said "ok". Since then, she has led and prodded me into many things. Following her progress along her path from a safe distance has been both enlightening and entertaining for me.
I've learned that we have a similar philosophy - we believe similar things, have had similar experiences, and have a common outreach goal. We want to help others find their own voices and walk down their own paths; pass on the healing that we have been fortunate enough to receive.
